Site Quality Management

Are you looking for a system to manage site quality?

Do you need a system to ensure that all the necessary tests and inspections have been done at all the right stages, and the results properly recorded?

Or perhaps just need an aid memoir to remind the construction team what needs to be checked and when. Something to help avoid those little mistakes being left until they become very expensive big mistakes?

Human nature is such that mistakes will happen on construction sites. Put in place a system of checks and inspections and a most of those mistakes will be picked up before they become too expensive. We all aim to 'get it right first time' but realistically we know that is unlikely to happen all of the time. When it doesn't there needs to be a system that will spot the mistake while it is still economically fixable.

I am a Chartered Architect who has worked in the construction industry for more than 30 years. For the past 10 years I have worked for a building contractor both as a Contracts Manager and as a Quality Manager. I understand the value of a robust Quality Management system and understand the cost of allowing mistakes happen because a Quality Management system either was not implimented or was ignored.

I also understand that sometimes mistakes will happen, even with the most robust Quality Management System. When mistakes do happen one of the most important things is knowing how to put them right. Through my years of experience of the Construction Industry, on both sides of the fence, I have developed a thorough understanding of the building process and specialise in putting right mistakes, whilst introducing a system that will help to avoid them in the first place. I get my buzz out of the sharp end of construction, out of making a building happen, but I will not compromise on quality.

If you would like help to avoid making mistakes, to introduce a Site Quality Management System, or just to put right some past mistakes, then please look up my "contact details" and drop me a line or give me a call.

Whether its just a few ideas that you want, or guidance through the whole construction process, I can help. I can offer as much or as little assistance as you need.
